The little known sequel, "Little Fish," was far better, even though it's subject matter was far removed from the original.

Tim Burton makes the most gorgeous, yet accessible, films. Big Fish is one of his best (IMO).

A huge disappointment. This is one of the few Tim Burton movies that I don't care for... although since 2001 that seems to be a trend since I also don't care for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory or Planet of the Apes either. I couldn't identily with the characters at all. Secondhand Lions was a similar but much better film in my opinion.
