thank you for the message. I like Rouge, responsible for making me like great cinema. But I adore Veronique so much, and in a different way

I haven't seen it, but it's been on my "CAT III too see" list for awhile (along with Dr. Lamb/Red to Kill/Run and Kill). I've heard there are hilarious scenes of aerial sex. I will have to check it out PRONTO.
Are you familiar with Ngai Kai Lam or Clarence Fok's stuff at all? They make some enjoyable flicks.

WKW has some good stuff - Fallen Angels/Chungking are good.. Happy Together/Days of Being Wild are DECENT, but it's his style that I don't care for (the voiceovers annoy me). And I find his later stuff to be tedious. You should see Woo's war endeavor Heroes Shed No Tears -- Woo tackles the heroic bloodshed subgenre to a tee here, and he takes no prisoners with his trademarked melodramatic touches. He pulls off yet another guns-blazing, balls-to-the-wall tearjerking episode. It's a very moving film that is too challenging for mainstream audiences. I encourage you to check it out.

Zhang's fallen to some hard times these days. What the hell is with all these CGI stuff with his last two movies? What happened with the lyricism and visual elegance of Ju Dou and Raise the Red Lantern. I'd like to see his latest movie, Riding Alone for Thousand Miles.
