You know, you could just have one LOTR movie on their to represent, and leave room for other movies.

Well There Will Be Blood wasn't there, that's why you didn't notice it. I saw it in Saturday when it was the Pre-Premiere in our country.
The Premiere is on 4th of April btw.

And I didn't see There Will Be Blood from the one you saw in a theatre. So if you havent seen it yet. I strongly recommend you to do so.

I even think it deserved the Best Picture only, not the writing and directing, more than No Country.

I got e-mailed.
I don't know, I'm not anticipating Al Pacino's new movies. 88 Minutes is uploaded in the torrent sites since 20 January 2007, but I am not very eager seeing it now, May be I will change my mind at a time, but I feel he kind of retired since Scent of a Woman, he takes more often roles, 2 in a year.

He is still great in Heat, The Insider, but in Simone, People I Know, City Hall, he is not as good as in his early performances.

house of the daggers was visually beatiful, but there was something missing...i have to watch it again someday.

I just saw Der Untergang recently and was impressed, despite history not being my best subject. And I like the honorable mention below to Brick: best high school set movie in 20 years.

Too true...to both of the above comments.

Also, comparing the English dubbing/subtitles with that of another language I know well, I came to think that the English translation is pretty bad. Sentences that are sounding quite sophisticated but in the core often missing logic, and in the end not even making sense within the context of the story.

I like what you wrote on the GitS 2: Innocence board.

What I didn't quiet like about the film is the mix of philosophy with spirituality and esotericism even, by having the existence of a ghost/soul to be the very basis for its Sci-Fi and philosophies. I simply don't believe in such a thing, so that unfortunately ruins much of the Sci-Fi and logic in the film for me.
