Nathaniel Bell:

12 Angry Men and High Noon are cornerstone viewing experiences; I doubt they will ever leave the top ten. I wish I could've made room for a Hammer film or two (most likely Dracula or The Devil Rides Out) since they left a scar on my adolescent brain.

My wild card is Our Mother's House, an extraordinarily rich slice of English Gothic about a brood of orphaned children who try to manage their household when their saintly mother dies. They bury her body in the garden without telling the authorities and hold nightly seances seeking her counsel. When their ne'er do well father (Dirk Bogarde) appears and disrupts their little paradise, they exact vengeance.

Hello, and welcome. I really like your list. In fact, I "dig it," as the kids say.
