Great list. I recently saw The Women for the first time and absolutely loved it. It stands up today, which is the mark of an excellent film. Love Blue Velvet, All about Eve, and Rebecca too.

Blue Velvet is my favorite movie. Mulholland Dr. is also great. I want to see Belle de jour.
I love Kids, Gummo, and Julien Donkey Boy. Why didn't you like them?

Great list. While 10 and 13 were solid, I didn't love them. However, 3, 4, 7, 12, 17, 18, and 20 are all great films. I haven't seen your 1. Question: who are your favorite actors?

Nice choices. #3 & #9 are not much in my book, but #2 is good (although I still feel like I'm missing part of the plot?). #11 is GREAT, but #16 & 18?? Nice list, however...

i'm also sad to see a keanu reeves film made number one on your list, but i haven't seen that one (as i loathe reeves and try to avoid him at all costs) so maybe i'll pick it up sometime.

didn't care for the ending of magnolia. I thought it was stupid and far too random. could be wrong, though.

Oh god Mulholland Dr. sucked...just because a movie purposefully didn't make sense does NOT make it brillaint it makes it pointless
